Washburn University Chemistry Club

Greetings Chemistry Club Members,

I hope you are all enjoying the summer so far. An officer meeting was held on 5/23/07. The members present were Nick Wilson, Sean Armstrong, Destiny Bryan, Nick Hill, and myself. Nick passed on his Presidential duties to Sean, and Destiny passed on all of her wisdom from being Treasurer to Nick Hill. Here is what you can expect thus far for Chemistry Club in the Fall:

The meetings will be held on Fridays at noon, about every two weeks. Aug. 17 we will be participating in WU Fest from 7-9pm. Aug. 29 we will be participating in the Majors Fair from 11am-2pm. Volunteers will be needed for both events to run the booths and whatever activities we decide to do. We will most likely have our annual Lake Party the first or second Friday when school starts. Additionally, we would like to start early with t-shirts this year. Anyone with suggestions for t-shirt designs should contact one of the officers. We would appreciate any and all ideas you may have. I will keep you informed as more information becomes available.
