Meeting Minutes

Hello All,

Here are the minutes from the meeting that took place on August 24. I apologize if they are a little sketchy. Due to a situation involving pop and cups, I missed the first 20 minutes of the meeting. Don’t worry, it won’t happen again.

Overall, the first meeting of the semester was a success. Family Day was discussed and Allison Campbell was appointed chair of the Family Day Committee. Other members of the committee will be David Reed, Rebecca Schmidt, Lindsay V., Elizabeth Berland, Jackie Mosley, and Clay Freeman. I apologize for any misspellings. Family Day will be September 15 from 10:30am-12:30pm. If anyone else is interested in helping out with the planning of the event or helping out at the event contact Allison (allison.campbell@washburn.edu). Thanks Allison.

The majors fair will take place this Wednesday, August 29. If you want to volunteer, please contact Dr. Schmidt. It is always important to spread the word about how fun it is to be a Chemistry Major!

Specifics for the Lake Party have yet to be finalized; however, a potential date for the event is Friday September 7. It will most likely be around 4 pm. We will keep you informed as the plans develop.
