Quest Academic Competition Volunteers Needed

“In our “Quest for the Best,” nearly 500 Kansas high school students will be on campus to compete for the chance to participate in the televised versions of the Quest academic competition.
We’re looking for volunteers to read questions, be timekeepers or assist in a variety of other ways. All volunteers are required to attend an orientation meeting the morning of the event for briefing on Quest rules, the responsibilities of moderators and scorekeepers and any other information critical to the testing process.
The Super Saturday schedule will be:
- 9:30 a.m. – New volunteer orientation (All volunteers are welcome to attend, but this orientation will focus on information for first time volunteers.)
- 10 a.m. – Volunteer orientation and brunch
- 11 a.m. – Testing begins
- 2:30 p.m. – Testing concludes (time approximate)
- 3:30 p.m. – Winners announced (time approximate) (Volunteers are welcome to attend the awards ceremony but not required to do so.)
Due to the steady growth and success of Quest, we are in great need of volunteers. If you know of others who may also be interested in ssisting, please ask them to call 670-2153.
