Washburn University Chemistry Club

The Chem Club officers for this year are:

The meeting began with an introduction of officers.

Discussion was held about meeting times. Due to scheduling conflicts, the only available times for meetings are Tuesday Noon – 1:00 pm or Thursday 1:00 – 2:00 pm. (Read more…)

Officers were reminded to register with ACS for the 2008 year. Dues were set at $6.00 per semester or $10.00 for the year. Meeting times for the semester were discussed: one meeting a month will be held on Thursday with a second meeting each month at a variable time. Times which will work with scheduling include Friday 1:00 – 2:00 pm and Tuesday 12:00 – 2:00 pm. Meetings are being planned in collusion with all of the science department clubs.The first regular meeting will be held Tuesday, August 26 at 12:00 noon.

A majors fair will be held August 27 with booths open from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Chemistry department will be sharing a booth with Pre- Pharmacy and Pre-Medical. (Read more…)
