Washburn University Chemistry Club

Family day was a success this year for the ChemClub. We actually ran out of supplies to make ice cream; so I think people really enjoyed us being there and making the ice cream.

Our annual Chemistry Club bowling party/fundraiser will be Thursday, May 1, 2008 from 7PM to 9PM. Tickets cost $10 and include shoe rental and two hours of cyber bowling at Gage Bowl. Find a ChemClub officer to buy a ticket. This is an open event, so invite everyone! Friends, family, you name it… come and enjoy some bowling and fun before finals.

The deadline for abstract submission for the KAS Annual Meeting is February 29, 2008. If you plan on presenting at the meeting, don’t forget to submit your abstract on time (the deadline is fast approaching!)
